Interclub Supported Charities

The Charleston Men's Interclub Golf Association retains a small percentage of every entry fee throughout the year in order to be in a position to distribute a sizeable check to 1 or 2 local charities each year. The presentation of the check normally takes place at the January tournament so that all the participants are there to share in the spirit of giving. The Interclub has given over $75,000 to charities in the local Charleston SC area.

In 2023, the Interclub members once again were able to give to two different charities that support the low country area: The ARK of SC and Neighbors Together of SC.

The ARK of SC has a vision to create a self-sustaining program to meet the growing need for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) support until a cure is found. The ARK provides hope and relief to families living with ADRD. Their vision and mission is accomplished through social respite, caregiver support and consultation, community education, and mentoring underserved communities through the Neighborhood Outreach Alzheimer's Help (NOAH) Project, in Dorchester, Charleston, Berkeley, Orangeburg and Colleton counties.
