The Charleston Area Men's Interclub Golf Association was formed over 30 years
ago in the
Charleston SC low-country area for male golfers to enjoy playing various local
clubs and connecting with other golfers.
There are 11 Member Clubs and monthly tournament events are played at each
club on a rotational basis. The format is Modified Stableford (based on 54
points) and there are both individual and team results from each tournament.
The Top 25 Individual players and players Closest-to-Pin on the Par 3s are
awarded prizes each month and a year-long team competition leads to a nice
plaque and bragging rights for the winning
team.
In addition to playing golf, the Members proudly support the local community.
The Interclub has donated over $75,000 to local area charities
since
its
inception.
